Yaya Toure will look to play a leading role when Manchester City target a Premier League win at West Ham United this evening.
Round 23 of the 2016/17 season will be wrapped up with three matches on Wednesday evening, starting with the battle between the Hammers and City.
The London side are set to be without Cheikhou Kouyate, whose Senegal were knocked out of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations this past weekend, while the Mancunian visitors will target a first win since early January after recording a 4-0 loss to Everton and 2-2 draw with Tottenham in their past two matches.
Later matches see Everton, who are still without injured DR Congo star Yannick Bolasie, travel to face Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium, while Manchester United (who can again call on Ivorian Eric Bailly after his return from the AFCON) face Hull City for the third time in the space of three weeks.
United ousted Omar Niasse’s Tigers 3-2 on aggregate in the semifinals of the League Cup, but their 2-1 defeat at the KCOM Stadium in the second leg last week suggests tonight’s match will not be a straightforward one for Jose Mourinho’s side.
