Algeria international Yacine Brahimi netted his first goal of the 2016/17 Portuguese Primiera Liga season over the weekend.
Brahimi’s FC Porto maintained their winning run in all competitions with an emphatic victory over Arouca at the Estádio Do Dragão in Porto on Saturday.
The home side scored in each half as they dominated their league encounter against Arouca who were keen to bounce back to winning ways on night.
With his side leading 2-0, Porto head coach Nuno Espirito Santo decided to introduce attack-minded Brahimi in the 65th minute.
The 26-year-old forward made a big impact as he hit the back of the net in stoppage time to seal a 3-0 victory to Porto on the night.
This was Brahimi’s first league goal for the Portuguese giants this season. The former Rennes and Granada star has made four Primiera Liga appearances.
Porto will lock horns with Victoria Setubal in a league encounter at the Estádio do Bonfim in the city of Setubal on Saturday evening.
