One of Neymar’s Brazil teammates has commented on how far he believes the FC Barcelona superstar is behind Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo.
Los Blancos midfielder Casemiro, who has represented Brazil alongside Neymar, believes the forward is still some way behind the Portuguese, who he feels will win the next Ballon d’Or.
« Neymar is a few years behind Ronaldo, » Casemiro told Onda Cero.
« What Ronaldo’s done over the past decade is impressive, and he’ll win this year’s Ballon d’Or, for sure.
« I don’t see Neymar as an opponent or an enemy, but as a partner. »
At just 24 years old, Neymar has already scored 160 club career goals, with 70 of those coming at Santos, and the other 90 at the Catalan giants.
Ronaldo, 31 years old, has scored 485 club goals in an amazing career that has seen him win three Ballons d’Or.
