Dino Ndlovu featured for Qarabag, as they were thumped 6-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a UEFA Champions League encounter.
Pedro opened the scoring for the Blues in the fifth minute from inside the 18-yard box following a corner hit by Willian.
Wilde-Donald Guerrier had a chance in the 16th minute to get the visitors back into the game but his left footed shot from the edge of the box missed narrowly wide.
Davide Zappacosta made it 2-0 in style for Antonio Conte’s charges in the 28th minute, hitting a right footed shot from the right wing in what looked like a cross but the shot sailed into the top right corner.
The home side were putting Qarabag defence under immense pressure after 38 minutes as they continued to dominate possession and attacking with purpose.
Four minutes before halftime Thibaut Courtois was called into action as Pedro Henrique hit a goal-bound left footed strike from outside the box but the shot-stopper saved brilliantly.
Cesar Azpilicueta made it 3-0 for Conte’s charges in the 55th minute with a header from the centre of the box following a chip by Cesc Fabregas from a set-piece situation.
In the 62nd minute N’Golo Kante was taken off with Tiemoue Bakayoko taking his place. Chelsea were cruising at this stage, enjoying a three goal cushion.
Bakayoko scored the fourth goal for the hosts in the 71st minute, firing home a left-footed shot from the centre of the box, 4-0.
Bakayoko was the provider of the fifth goal as he picked out Michi Batshuayi, who made it 5-0 five minutes later with a shot from outside the box.
Batshuayi the got his second and Chelsea’s sixth goal with a close range finish in the 82nd minute to round off a big performance.
