Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho under went a medical at Leicester City on Tuesday ahead of a £25 million move from Manchester City.
Iheanacho, 20, is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Foxes, calling time on his three-year career with City and ending uncertainty over his future.
However, City have inserted a buyback clause, which has been pegged at £50 million for one of Europe’s brightest young footballers.
The deal was expected to be signed later on Tuesday after a photo emerged on twitter but should be announced before the week runs out.
Leicester’s capture of the 20-year-old, who scored 26 goals in his 71 appearances across all competitions and friendlies for Manchester City, brings to three the number of Nigerians at the King Power after Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi.
