The home side ended a torrid run of form when they came from behind to pick up three points against Claude Puel’s men
Hull City ended an eight game winless streak in the Premier League when they came from behind to beat Southampton 2-1 on Sunday.
Steve Bruce’s men had picked up just one point from their last eight matches in the top-flight, and sat third bottom in the league heading into the game.
It appeared the misery for the home side would continue when Charlie Austin gave Southampton the lead six minutes in.
However, goals from Robert Snodgrass and Michael Dawson saw the home side claw their way back and pick up a vital win.
