Avram Grant has predicted a “tough” semifinal for his team Ghana against Cameroon in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars defeated DR Congo 2-1 on Sunday night to set up a meeting with the Indomitable Lions, who stunned early tournament favourites Senegal on Saturday.
The match will be the second semifinal, staged in Franceville on Thursday night, and Grant is expecting a titanic tussle between the West African giants.
“I saw the Cameroonians yesterday [Saturday] and they were very good, a very tough side, » Grant told Pulse Ghana.
« In the group stage they played well and against Senegal they were very impressive. Senegal created more chances but I think Cameroon deserved to beat win the match.
« The semifinal is going to be tough. »
