Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel believes Victor Moses has improved recently after putting in more effort in training.
The Nigeria international thinks his international teammate has started to try harder under new manager Antonio Conte, and this has resulted in the winger getting more chances in the first team.
Moses has made seven appearances in all competitions for the Blues this season, scoring twice.
‘He looks to me a changed player, a player who wants to be here,’ Mikel told Goal.
‘He wants to work hard in training because before that has been the big problem with Victor – he doesn’t train well and then the managers don’t want to play him.
‘I think Vic is a totally changed player. He trains well and you can see that. In the games, when he plays, he plays really well.
‘Vic is going to have a very, very good season this season. So I wish him well.’
Moses has been out on loan at various clubs since signing for Chelsea in 2012.
However, he has failed to impress for West Ham, Stoke City, and Liverpool in recent years, and at 25-years-old he will want to start showing what he can really do in the Premier League.
